Shields Depot, located in Glasgow, is a railway Electric Traction Depot which uses state-of-the-art technologies to maintain Abellio Scotrail’s electric trains. The company have worked hard to reduce their environmental impact, and have established environmental targets for energy use reduction and reducing landfill waste.
